Born in Nicholson, daughter of the late Frank and Vera Oakley Richmond Packer and a stepdaughter of the late Ralph Packer, she was employed by the Bendix Corp. in South Montrose for 33 years.
She was a member of the Hop Bottom United Methodist Church, Nicholson Senior Citizens, Wyoming County Secret Pals and Bendix Retirees.
Marge is survived by a sister, Ida Mae Strickland and husband, Bill; a niece, Claudia Lopatofsky and husband, Bill; two nephews, Bradley Strickland and wife, Penny; and William Strickland and wife, Michele; eight great-nieces and nephews and five great-great-nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all of Marge’s friends and neighbors for their help and kindness in making her life enjoyable.
Services will be private, as per Marge’s wishes, by Pastor Richard Spering of the Hop Bottom United Methodist Church.
Interment will take place in the Nicholson Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson.
